What is localization testing

To check that you have checked everything to launch or deliver your produce to the local market (where the application would be used)

Target: To create /modify/change your app/software for a particular locality/area

Localization Checklist:Localization Checklist:- Date format- Used operating system- Key boards - System Hot Key- Mouse buttons - Mass storage

Includes: GUI and Fumctional Changes (specific flags in settings)

Testing part: How well we have changed this for particular locale

Ex:

-Different locale can have a different calender fro financial years

-Different banking rules in different area

-Different english rules

- Time Format

- Scale format (Measurement)

- Sorting Order

- Currency format

- Currency symbol

- Spelling checks

- Language char set
